Price per 1x dormant Amorphophallus asterostigmatus tuber, approx 3cm in diameter.
Amorphophallus asterostigmatus originates from Thailand, where it can be found growing amongst boulders and in crevasses filled with leaf litter. This makes an easy and very beautiful potted plant, reaching only around 50cm in total height. Tubers can get up to around 10cm in diameter.
Once the tuber is mature enough and contains the starchy food reserves for flowering, a dramatic inflorescence is produced. This has a pale greenish spathe with cream interior that surrounds a bright white spadix.
Rarely offered and in very limited supply.
