Adventurous Plants is a small mail-order nursery run by Ben Candlin and based in East Devon, UK. Our aim is to provide an exciting selection of rare, unusual and inspiring plants for the adventurous gardener who strives to grow something out of the ordinary.
We specialise in producing tuberous Aroids, especially Arisaema, and grow an extensive and ever-expanding collection of these fascinating plants, along with other related genera such as Arum, Pinellia and Amorphophallus. We have an extensive range of Arisaema for sale.
Most plants and tubers are available whilst dormant during the autumn and winter, and consequently many are highly seasonal in availability. Plants are grown on several different sites and access is complicated. Consequently, we operate on a mail order basis only.
