A genus of remarkable tuberous aroids containing six species. We are currently cultivating four species here – Sauromatum venosoum, horsfieldii, giganteum and diversifolium.

Sauromatun venosum is widely grown, being relatively quick and easy to propagate and spectacular in leaf and flower, whilst the other species are very rare in cultivation.
