1x Fritillaria acmopetala flowering sized bulb. An excellent and unusual Fritillary, best planted out in the garden and left to its own devices. This is easily grown and the only cultivation instructions needed are for planting in full sun with reasonable drainage. Fritillaria acmopetala emerges in the spring and makes stems typically up to 40cm tall. The fantastic bell-shaped flowers are composed of alternating maroon and yellowy green petals. This is an unusual and beautiful plant. Plant the bulbs around 10cm deep and leave them to establish. Photo provided with thanks and under licence via Wiki Commons.
