Amorphophallus arcuspadix

£13.00

Price per 1x Amorphophallus arcuspadix tuber approx 1.5 – 2 cm in diameter (around the size of a small marble). Some are producing stolons. This is a dwarf species and tubers of this size will go on to produce strong growth – they are naturally small.

Amorphophallus arcuspadix, only scientifically described in 2012, originates from limestone crevices in Laos.

A dwarf species growing to around 12-14 inches high. Typical amorphophallus foliage emerges from the small tubers. The inflorescence is greenish / cream with a distinct curving spadix.

The tubers are naturally fairly small, and stoloniferous, producing several long stolons each season. So far for us this has been a relatively easy species to cultivate in a good quality well drained compost mix.

The photo shows a typical range of tuber shapes and forms and will give an idea as to the size you can expect.
