Only described to science in 2012, Amorphophallus bolikhamxayensis is an introduction from Laos by renowned Amorphophallus expert, Alan Galloway.
Amorphophallus bolikhamxayensis eventually forms a relatively large plant. Stems are very attractively mottled. So far, this species seems easily cultivated in a well drained fertile compost mix. As with most Amorphophallus, warmth and good but light will help with strong growth.
This species very rarely makes offsets, especially when young, therefore stocks are extremely limited and 2016 is likely to be the last year we can offer this species for several years.
