Description
Price per 1x tuber of Amorphophallus ‘Mary Sizemore’. 4cm+ diameter with stolons attached.
Amorphophallus ‘Mary Sizemore’ is a cultivar created and released by Cyrille Claudel, selected out of the offspring from a cross between Amorphophallus albus and Amorphophallus konjac ‘Nightstick’ and named after the renowned botanist Mary Sizemore who has scientifically described and introduced a number of Aroid plants into cultivation.
Displaying classic hybrid vigour, it is a quick grower, making prolific stoloniferous offsets in the same way as one of it’s parents, Amorphophallus albus. Petioles are pale green with darker blotching and the inflorescence can be big – acid green on the outside with a maroon interior and chuncky spadix.
