Price per 2x offset tubers.
This form of Amorphophallus myosuroides has an attractive silver stripe running the length of the leaf. We are now offering this silver leaved form as a group of 2 tubers. Each tuber is approx 0.5cm in diameter. Mature tubers reach only around 2cm in diameter, and are capable of flowering at a little over 1cm. This form has an attractive silver stripe running down the leaf.
Amorphophallus myosuroides is a tiny dwarf species from Laos. Reaching around 20ccm tall at full size, this is the perfect Amorphophallus for the window-sill!
A single leaf emerges from the tiny tubers, divided into several leaflets, reaching only around 20cm tall. This is followed by a white inflorescence, and can potentially be repeat flowering in the same season. Although small, the tubers rapidly produce offsets. An easy species.
I cannot stress enough that these offset tubers are natually very small – they are the same size as many Amorphophallus seeds – it is simply how they are. For best results, simply ‘sow’ them as if they were seeds into a well drained potting mix. Place the pot inside a transparent ziplock bag and then wait for growth. Once growing, the pot can be removed from the bag and cared for in the same way as any other plant.
