This is an easy amorphophallus species, and we’ve found it to be a strong grower. Plant in a well drained mix. We use general multipurpose compost mixed with around one third perlite. Fertilise once a month with a weak liquid feed for the first few months of active growth. A weak solution of a high Phosphate feed towards the latter stages of the growing season will help increase tuber size – all important when growing amorphophallus on to flowering size.
Keep tubers at room temperature and virtually dry during the winter dormant season.
