Arisaema averyanovii is one of the most beautiful species within the whole genus. It’s a small plant, and the inflorescence is only a matter of centimeters in length, but what it lacks in size, it sure makes up in beauty.
A strictly tropical species, Arisaema averyanovii originates from Vietnam. It is not a plant for the novice, and in my experience has been a challenge to grow, but certainly is not impossible.
Seeds seem easy to germinate using a little gentle warmth and sown into the usual well drained compost mix. Grow on out of direct sun, and I have found it best to store the tubers within their compost during dormancy.
