Of all the Arisaema, Arisaema candidissimum must surely be one of the most beautiful and is worthy of a spot in any garden.
Price per 1 x tuber. These are approximately 4.5cm – 5cm cm in diameter. This is borderline flowering size.
Typically starting into growth very late in the season sometime in late June, or even July, the plant reaches an overall height of around 60cm, producing a single trifoliate leaf and a stunningly beautiful long lasting spathe. The effect is greatly enhanced when planted as a group. Arisaema candidissimum is noted for it’s pleasant but feint scent (a rarity amongst the Aroid family as a whole). Offsets are produced from the main corm, resulting in substantial clumps over a period of years.
These tubers should give a mixture of pink through to white. They are unsorted in terms of colour and so no guarantees are made in regards to the shade of flower colour. However, all are lovely and well worth a spot in the garden.
