Of all the Arisaema, Arisaema candidissimum must surely be one of the most beautiful and is worthy of a spot in any garden.
Price per 1 x tuber. These should be flowering sized, although I cannot guarantee this. We’ve been building stocks of this superb species for a while now and are releasing a few tubers due to popular demand.
Typically starting into growth very late in the season sometime in late June, or even July, the plant reaches an overall height of around 60cm, producing a single trifoliate leaf and a stunningly beautiful long lasting spathe. The effect is greatly enhanced when planted as a group. Arisaema candidissimum is noted for it’s pleasant but feint scent (a rarity amongst the Aroid family as a whole). Offsets are produced from the main corm, resulting in substantial clumps over a period of years.
These tubers should give a mixture of pale pink through white. They are unsorted in term of colour and so no guarantees are made in regards to flower colour.
