Arisaema fimbriatum is one of the most extraordinary Arisaema species – made famous for its remarkable long spadix covered in bristly hairs.
From section Fimbriata, this strictly tropical species grows in Southern Thailand and parts of Malaysia in humus filled pockets on limestone outcrops at low altitude. This form was originally introduced by Gothenberg Botanic Garden.
This is not the easiest of species and not suited for a beginner. Only 2 lots of 5x seeds available.
Grow in a very open soil structure – moist but very free draining at an absolute minimum temperature of 15 degrees C. A very sought after plant, and only very infrequently seen for sale in the UK.
