The curious purple / brown inflorescence is produced before the foliage, which follows on narrow stems to little more than 30cm in height.

Hardiness is not reliably tested. We recommend growing this species in a pot and keeping frost free during dormancy. In any case, for such a small species, it can be admired more easily when pot grown!

Arisaema ghaticum produces small tubers. The tubers we have for sale are young, and are just under 1cm diameter. Mature tubers fetch high prices – this is a chance to obtain this species at a lower cost. Very few available.
