Description
1x seed packet containing 10x Arum apulum seeds.
Arum apulum is a rarely grown Arum species from a localised area of Italy. It has proven to be hardy here in Devon, either in pots or in the ground. A good level of sun seems to benefit growth, as does protection from strong winds which can damage the leaves.
Arum apulum makes typical plain green Arum foliage, and a relatively large spathe. This has a pale pink / reddish colour to the inside, along with a maroon spadix.
Easily grown. Sow Arum apulum seeds in a good quality seed compost. No heat is required for germination, although as with many Arum seeds, germination can take anywhere from 4 weeks or so to a few months.
