Description
1x seed packet containing 10x Arum dioscoridis seeds SL542, a form originally collected in Jordan.
Arum dioscoridis has a relatively wide distribution in the wild, and this particular clone was originally collected many years ago in Jordan. The collection number SL542 refers to a collection by Salmon and Lovell.
Typical arrow shaped Arum foliage is produced in early spring, followed by an impressively smelly inflorescence. This is cream coloured, overlaid with intense purple and maroon blotching. A purple spadix completes the picture.
Note – the picture shows a different clone of Arum dioscoridis, but SL542 is very similar.
