Beschorneria yuccoides is a superb architectural plant from Mexico that makes a large rosette of strap like leaves, much like a soft-leaved yucca. Easily raised from seed – surface sow onto good quality seed compost. A bit of extra warmth will help germination along nicely.
Grow in a full sun position, good drainage is important and a South facing slope would be perfect. When mature, extraordinary pink flower spikes are produced – a real show stopper in the garden!
