Description
1x seed packet containing 10+ Dianella tasmanica seeds.
Making stiff evergreen strappy leaves, Dianella tasmanica is an attractive little plant. Originating from parts of Australia (including Tasmania, as the name suggests!), it has now been grown widely across the globe.
The flowers are held on tall spikes and are yellow and deep purple in colour, however, the real show is produced by the plump berries in late summer. These are a fantastic rich purple and have to be seen to be believed!
Hardy and easy to grow. Ideal for the front of a border.

Arum maculatum Seeds
£1.25
1 x seed packet - 10+ Arum maculatum seeds.
Our native UK Arum. Seeds have been collected from a mixture of plants, some showing strong black markings on the both the leaf and / or the spathe. Some will have a purple spadix, others a yellow spadix.
Arum maculatum will be familiar to many as an attractive hedgerow plant. A highly variable species, a number of colour forms exist. Potentially a spreader in the garden, this is not a recommended plant for a neat and formal border, but makes a wonderful addition to a woodland or wild garden.
Please note that seeds germinate easily, but do not show a leaf for until their second year.

1x seed packet containing 10x seeds ex.Euphorbia × pasteurii 'Roundway Titan'.

Rosa glauca Seeds
£3.00
1x seed packet containing 10x Rosa glauca seeds.
Rosa glauca is one of my personal favourite rose species. It makes superb glaucus blue-green leaves and is an especially beautiful plant even when not in flower. Arching stems with relatively few thorns produce bright pink flowers - each of these is relatively small at around 4cm, but there are plenty of them, and they have a lovely delicate appearance. Bright red hops are made in early Autumn.
Totally hardy and very easy. Height is up to around 7 feet although it can be kept smaller. Rosa glauca is a superb shrub rose.
Rosa glauca seeds should be sown with a cold stratification - either plant in the autumn / winter, or keep in the fridge for around 4 weeks after sowing.
Scilla latifolia Seeds
£7.00
1x seed packed containing 10x seeds of Scilla latifolia.
A stunningly beautiful species, Scilla latifolia stopped me in my tracks when I first encountered it whilst walking in the mountains of La Gomera. I have been searching for seeds ever since, and am therefore very pleased to have found a source of cultivated seeds and to offer them here for the first time.
Found in the Canary Islands and Morocco, this makes a stout rosette of lush leaves topped with a large flower spike of intense purple / blue flowers. With a long flowering season, the flowers are a real show-stopper.
Cultivation is easy, but frost free conditions are needed. Sow the seeds in regular seed compost and keep at around 20 degrees.
Zantedeschia jucunda Seeds
£4.75
1x seed packet containing 10 seeds of Zantedeschia jucunda.
Zantedeschia jucunda, commonly known as the 'Yellow Arum Lily', is a superb species of Arum Lily from the Sekhukuneland mountains in the North East of South Africa. The true species is not common - this plant was originally introduced into cultivation by the late Rod and Rachel Saunders of Silverhill Seeds of South Africa.
Making bright yellow urn-shaped flowers, this is an especially beautiful Arum Lily. Fully hardy in an unheated greenhouse, we have not tested it outside unprotected yet, however, it should be hardy in a normal UK winter provided that the soil is not too wet for the colder months.
Zantedeschia jucunda seeds germinate readily - soak the seeds for 24 hours and sow into a regular seed potting mix. Gentle bottom heat aids germination.
