This is an extremely attractive bulbous species, originally found growing in Kampersrus, Limpopo Province, South Africa. It is a summer growing species, and goes dormant for the winter months. Making superbly patterned foliage with strong stripes running the length of the leaves, and small white flowers in summer. It seems easy to please in any well drained compost mix and reproduces reasonably well. Keep virtually dry for the winter months. Frost free.
An exact ID has yet to be pinned down on this plant, but it is highly likely to be a form of Drimiopsis davidsoniae. Until we hear otherwise, we will list it simply as Drimiopsis ‘Kampersrus’.
