Description
Ficus carica ‘Rouge de Bordeaux’ established in a 3 litre pot.
This fig cultivar makes a small tree / large shrub to around 3 metres in height. Leaves are typical for Ficus carica, being large, bright green and deeply lobed. This is an abundant cropper – and will make high yields of deep maroon coloured fruit with a sweet taste and excellent flavour.
Fully hardy, we grow this in pots and also in the ground. Best suited for a warm spot to help aid with fruit ripening.
