Price per 1x flowering sized Gloriosa superba ‘Rothschildiana’ rhizome.
From slender finger width rhizomes grows this wonderful South Afrian plant. A real show stopper with breathtaking firey flowers in shades of red and yellow.
A climbing / scrambling plant, this will need some sort of support on which to grow. For best results, plant the tubers just an inch or so deep and horizontally. Ideal in in a pot in a warm position for the summer months, or in a conservatory. Water well once in growth.
Not hardy – lift the rhizomes in the autumn and store cool and dry.
