Description
Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’ growing in a 1 litre pot.
One of my favourite grasses, and a very useful plant for dry shade. Hakonechloa macra ‘Aureola’ makes soft clumps of foliage from early spring until late Autumn. It dislikes too much sun and has a better colour with a little shade. Excellent either planted in the ground, or used in a pot where it can cascade over the sides.
