Similar in appearance to the classic and well known Soloman’s Seal, this has arching stems carrying a series of pointed leaves and topped by sprays of wonderfully scented pure white flowers in early summer. Spreading from thick underground rhizomes, once settled in, this quickly makes a good clump in the garden. Fully hardy. Easily grown in light shade and a rich well drained humus rich soil.

The naming of this plant is a bit of a mess – it is very commonly seen in cultivation under the old name of Smilacina racemosa.

Strong flowering sizes rhizomes offered for sale.
