Miersia chilensis is a rare Chilean species, and a member of the Amaryllidaceae family. It is an unassuming little plant that grows from a tiny bulb, making thin grass like leaves and tiny greeny yellow flowers. Despite the small size of the plant and flowers, it has a good flowering period, so it can be enjoyed in a pot in an alpine house or cool greenhouse during the winter months.
It grown on a Mediterranean bulb cycle, typically starting into growth in late autumn.
Easy and fun.

Sedum compressum
Price per 1x Sedum compressum plant growing in a 7cm pot.
Sedum compressum is a low growing succulent that has been hardy here in Devon for many years. It makes rosettes of grey-green leaves, rather like a very small aeonium, at the end of a small branching stem. Leaves can turn a lovely reddish colour in very bright sunlight or during cold weather. In spring, clusters of yellow flowers are produced in abundance.
An easy, low growing succulent that doesn't look like it should be hardy, but yet is!
