Description
Passiflora caerulea, the hardy passion flower, is a vigorous semi-evergreen climber. The leaves are lobed, and an attractive deep glossy green. However, it is the flowers that really steal the show! Large, very showy and simply stunning – the exotic-looking blooms are white with blue filaments surrounding the floral parts.
Mature plants are capable of setting bright orange, inedible fruits.
Grow in a sheltered location in rich soil in full sun to light shade. If the top growth is cut back by heavy frosts, it will readily reshoot in the spring.
Fresh seeds. 15 seeds.
