Description
A fantastic and striking plant for any position in shade with moisture retentive soil.
Podophyllum ‘Spotty Dotty’ pushes up it’s leaves in early spring, each appearing as a closed umbrella which subsequently opens up into an irregular star-shape and covered with brown or bronze markings over a pale green background. The bright red flowers are held under the foliage.
‘Spotty Dotty’ grows from a creeping underground rhizome, which slowly spreads into a clump over several years.
