Description
1x seed packet containing 10x Rosa glauca seeds.
Rosa glauca is one of my personal favourite rose species. It makes superb glaucus blue-green leaves and is an especially beautiful plant even when not in flower. Arching stems with relatively few thorns produce bright pink flowers – each of these is relatively small at around 4cm, but there are plenty of them, and they have a lovely delicate appearance. Bright red hops are made in early Autumn.
Totally hardy and very easy. Height is up to around 7 feet although it can be kept smaller. Rosa glauca is a superb shrub rose.
Rosa glauca seeds should be sown with a cold stratification – either plant in the autumn / winter, or keep in the fridge for around 4 weeks after sowing.
