Description
Roscoea cautleyoides is a wonderful plant, easy and reliable out in the garden, and a superb garden plant. Ideal for any position in sun or bright shade.
Roscoeae are members of the ginger family (Zingiberaceae) and grow from fleshy swollen rhizomes. Plant these 4 or 5 inches inches deep in good quality soil. Growth starts around late May. The flowers are held at the end of the narrow stems and are a lovely soft yellow, although this can be variable.
