Saxifraga stolonifera is a wonderful little plant from Japan and parts of China. Best grown in a shaded position, it will quickly produce a delightful display of attractive foliage topped with sprays of dainty white flowers in mid summer.
As the name suggests, this plant makes stolons (runners) that root and produce new plants, which result in small colonies of plants over time.
A fantastic little plant, fully hardy and easy to please. We wouldn’t be without it in the garden.
