Description
Sempervivum arachnoideum ‘Lemon Flare’ growing in a 9cm pot.
Sempervivum ‘Lemon Flare’ is a great little houseleek, and apparently hardy to -25 (thankfully not tested here!) This is a really easy plant, and that will reward you throughout the seasons as the leaf colour changes from pale lime green and then with reddish tinges according to temperature and sunlight. Offsets are produced freely.
The ‘arachnoideum’ part of the latin name refers to the webbing that this plant produces in the centre of it’s rosettes.
Plant in full sun in a well drained soil. Perfect for pots and containers, green roofs, rockerys or gravel gardens.

Sedum compressum
Price per 1x Sedum compressum plant growing in a 7cm pot.
Sedum compressum is a low growing succulent that has been hardy here in Devon for many years. It makes rosettes of grey-green leaves, rather like a very small aeonium, at the end of a small branching stem. Leaves can turn a lovely reddish colour in very bright sunlight or during cold weather. In spring, clusters of yellow flowers are produced in abundance.
An easy, low growing succulent that doesn't look like it should be hardy, but yet is!
