1x Trachycarpus fortunei ‘Wagnerianus’ seedling recently potted into a 9cm pot. Seedlings have 1 or 2 strap leaves and will need growing on for some time before planting out.

Trachycarpus fortunei is the most familiar and widely grown hardy palm in the UK. Eventually making stout hairy trunks with a crown of large fan shaped leaves, it is a reliable species for UK conditions, and often forms the backbone in an exotic border. Hardy once mature. The form ‘Wagnerianus’ has much shorter and stiffer leaves and is much more compact and stout in appearance. It is a beautiful palm with good wind resistance and highly desireable.

These are seedlings and will need growing on. Grown from UK produced seed.
