Description
Price per 1x Tropaeolum pentaphyllum tuber.
Tropaeolum pentaphyllum is a relatively short species, making thin climbing stems between 50 – 100cm in height, bearing delicate 5-lobed leaves, and clusters of pale reddish orangey coloured flowers, each with a green opening splashed with red markings. Flowering tends to occur early May or June, after which it naturally dies down for a period of dormancy.
Best planted in a sheltered position where it can scramble up a supporting shrub. This has proven hardy in most parts of the UK.
