Tropaeolum polyphyllum produces thin, trailing stems with silvery dissected leaves and an abundance of bright yellow flowers during the summer.
This is a choice plant, and one we are pleased to offer. Ideal for a hot sunny spot where the stems can scramble at will through the garden, and it is a real show stopper when in full swing. Fully hardy, it can take a year for the tubers to settle in so please don’t be disappointed by the first years growth. However, it is vigorous once established and well worth the wait.
The tubers can go down quite deep, so this really is not suited for pot culture – it is a much better plant in the ground.
