Grow in a well drained compost mix. This appears to be a relatively easy species. It is essential that the tubers are kept in their compost whilst dormant in order to prevent desiccation. Keep virtually dry during this period.

Nearly all Typhonium are small plants, and this is no exception. Plants reach around 15cm in height.

These tubers are not yet flowering sized, but are in fact rhizomes with a young tuber attached at the end. Under good conditions, I would imagine one further year before flowering.
