Typhonium roxburghii

£4.95

Price per 1x flowering sized tuber of Typhonium roxburghii. These are naturally small in size – it is simply how they are. Typhonium roxburghii is a ‘must have’ for the aroid collector. A really cracking little plant!

Growing to only around 15cm, this dwarf species produces deep maroon spathes throughout the summer, each with an ‘interesting’ scent! Repeat flowering, you’ll be guaranteed a good display.

1.5cm tubers are flowering sized, and 3 or more tubers make a great display in an 11cm pot. Any reasonably well drained compost mix seems to suit. Avoid full sun and don’t allow to dry out once in active growth. This species is winter dormant – store the tubers frost free and dry at a minimum of 5 degrees C, ideally within their pots or in vermiculite to prevent desiccation of the small tubers.

Tubers are naturally small. These are flowering sized.
