The Aroid Uberlist shows numbers of species for every Aroid genera, along with the expected numbers if all the known undescribed species are accounted for. The total number of known Aroid species is almost 6000 - amazing stuff!
David Scherberich's aroid pictures site makes a wonderful photo reference for many aroids.
The website for Op de Haar Gardens owned by John and Joyce Ramsbotham in the Netherlands. Contains useful information on Aroid cultivation, along with other exotic style garden plants. Navigable in both English and Dutch.

Growing on the Edge - A respected worldwide discussion forum. If you want to search for detailed growing advice on Exotics, then this is the place to go.
European Palm Society - The place to go if you want information on palm cultivation in the UK. Very friendly site. You'll need to register (free) to access the forums and other content.
The Scottish Rock Garden Club has an active forum with masses of information covering a wide range of alpines, rock garden plants, bulbs etc. Aroids and Arisaema are often discussed too. A wonderful resource.
