We are pleased to offer UK grown tubers of the hybrid Amorphophallus thaiensis x putii. These are in limited supply, being produced from our own stock plants here from offsets annually. A rare hybrid amorphophallus!
An easy, vigorous and unfussy amorphophallus. Plant in a well drained mix. We use general multipurpose compost mixed with around one third perlite. Fertilise once a month with a weak liquid feed for the first few months of active growth. A weak solution of a high Phosphate feed towards the latter stages of the growing season will help increase tuber size – all important when growing amorphophallus on to flowering size.
Keep tubers at room temperature and virtually dry during the winter dormant season.
