Description
Price per 1x tuber of Arisaema bottae. Around 2.5cm in diameter. Not yet flowering sized.
Arisaema bottae originates from Yemen in mountainous regions between 2500 – 3000m altitude. It is a member of Section Sinarisaema, and so is related to better known species such as Arisaema consanguineum and ciliatum. However, it appearance, it is very different: the radial leaf has far fewer and much broader leaflets, and the shape of the green spathe is also different.
Highly unlikely to be hardy (not tested) and perhaps better suited for the collector. We lift and store the tubers for the winter months.
Very rarely seen in cultivation. Just the single tuber offered this year.
