Description
We are offering two different forms of Arisaema lobatum, both originally introduced into cultivation by Chen-Yi many years ago. Both are bulblets. Please see our notes on growing bulblets in our Cultivation Advice page (under the Useful Information Tab at the top of this page) before purchasing!
– A 48 Spotted Form. Bulblets
– A-65B Bulblets
Each bulblet is approx 0.5cm-1cm in diameter and will need growing on for around 3 years before flowering.
A very rarely offered species, Arisaema lobaum is highly variable in the wild. Typically, spathes are light brown with vertical banding. Stems and petioles are often attractively mottled. Hardiness is unknown, but with such rare material, I personally would be unwilling to risk them outside! Grow in a well drained compost in light shade.
