Description
Price per pack of 10 bulbils.
Remusatia pumila is a small species grown mainly for the beautifully patterned foliage. It makes a fantastic plant for a pot outdoors in the summer.
Pale yellow or greeny yellow spathes appear after the foliage during mid – late summer. As with other members of this genus, tiny bulbils are produced on above ground stolons, although these do not always develop to maturity in a typical British summer.
Bulbils germinate easily, but erratically. They may take several months. Place them flat on the surface of a good quality moist seed compost. A useful trick is to keep the seed pot inside a clear ziplock bag in order to maintain humidity. Once the bulbils are growing, cultivation is simple.
We also sell tubers of this species.
