One for the collector! This is an unusual and rare cross between Trachycarpus fortunei and the rarely encountered Trachycarpus nanus. Both palm species are hardy in the UK, and the cross will undoubtedly produce a most interesting and hardy palm.
These young plants were produced in the UK by a member of the European Palm Society. Only time will tell how they turn out. It has proved to be slow but stready grower and taken well below freezing in its stride.
Almost certainly a one-off offering, once these are gone, they are gone. Plants are making nice split leaves and ready for planting out.
