Description
Tulipa thianschanica is a dwarf tulip species from the Tian Shan mountains, Kazakhstan and parts of China. Producing bright yellow dainty flowers, it only reaches 10 – 12cm in height.
The true species is infrequently offered for sale. These are of Chinese origin. Cultivated plants.
Bulbs are naturally small.
A hardy species that does well in a pot in a cold frame or greenhouse. It’s small size makes it an ideal pot subject.
