An easy plant from seed. These seeds have been collected from various Agapanthus garden hybrids – flower colours of the parents vary from pale blue through to deep blue / purple. Occasional white forms may also be produced. All parent plants are hardy and strong growers.
Surface sow the seeds on to good quality seed compost and water in lightly. Warm temperatures will ensure quick germination.

We cannot send plants, tubers, bulbs or seeds to EU countries due to Brexit. EU orders cannot currently be placed using the shopping cart on this website.

Eucomis comosa Seeds

Eucomis is a genus of bulbous plants from South Africa. Their common name 'Pineapple Lily' refers to the tuft of leaves held on top of the flower spike, giving the appearance of a pineapple top. Eucomis comosa is one of the easiest species. It is also one of the larger Eucomis and can make quite a statement in a herbaceous border.
Glossy strap-shaped leaves emerge in late spring, followed by their remarkable flower.
These seeds are our own Eucomis comosa hybrids - parent plants have a mixture of green or deep maroon foliage, with many shades of flower colour. Some of the resultng seedlings will no doubt be quite unusual.
Euphorbia × pasteurii ‘Roundway Titan’ Seeds

Euphorbia 'Roundway Titan' is an impressive, chunky and robust shrub reaching around 120cm in height. Lush bright green leaves contain a feint pale central vein. Yellow honey scented flowers are produced in early summer.
Euphorbia mellifera Seeds
1x seed packet containing 10+ Euphorbia mellifera seeds.
Euphorbia mellifera originates from the island of Madeira, where it grows in the cloud forests high up in the central mountains. It is easily grown in the UK. but does best in slighly milder regions, where it can be a vigorous shrub.
This highly desirable shrub has bright green leaves topped with heads of strongly honey scented flowers, the scent of which can be detected some distance away. Lovely!
Sow the seeds onto a good quality seed compost and lightly cover. Germination can be erratic, but is usually at a good rate. Keep moist and at 10 - 20 degrees. Seed can be sown at any time of the year.
Scilla latifolia Seeds

A stunningly beautiful species, Scilla latifolia stopped me in my tracks when I first encountered it whilst walking in the mountains of La Gomera. I have been searching for seeds ever since, and am therefore very pleased to have found a source of cultivated seeds and to offer them here for the first time.
Found in the Canary Islands and Morocco, this makes a stout rosette of lush leaves topped with a large flower spike of intense purple / blue flowers. With a long flowering season, the flowers are a real show-stopper.
Cultivation is easy, but frost free conditions are needed. Sow the seeds in regular seed compost and keep at around 20 degrees.
Zantedeschia jucunda Seeds

Zantedeschia jucunda, commonly known as the 'Yellow Arum Lily', is a superb species of Arum Lily from the Sekhukuneland mountains in the North East of South Africa. The true species is not common - this plant was originally introduced into cultivation by the late Rod and Rachel Saunders of Silverhill Seeds of South Africa.
Making bright yellow urn-shaped flowers, this is an especially beautiful Arum Lily. Fully hardy in an unheated greenhouse, we have not tested it outside unprotected yet, however, it should be hardy in a normal UK winter provided that the soil is not too wet for the colder months.
Zantedeschia jucunda seeds germinate readily - soak the seeds for 24 hours and sow into a regular seed potting mix. Gentle bottom heat aids germination.
