Description

1x seed packet containing 10+ Anomatheca laxa Seeds.

Anomatheca laxa, the False Freesia, is a hardy perennial from Africa. Making a small corm, growth begins in the spring with flowering occuring in mid – late summer. This is a superb little plant for a rockery or gravel garden, only reaching around 25cm in height but with beautiful pale red / pink flowers. It can seed around under ideal conditions, resulting in attractive clumps and a real splash of colour.

Easy  to grow. Sow the seed in a good quality seed compost. Seeds can take a while to germinate, but can be sown at any time of year. Do not use artificial heat as this can inhibit germination. Ideal temperatures are about 10 Р15 degrees. Eg, we sow these in the autumn and typically get germination the following spring.
