Arisaema ciliatum var liubaense is a truly wonderful garden plant, and one of the easiest species to grow. The impressive brown and green striped inflorescence is held high up within the foliage and is instantly eye-catching. Leaflets are arranged in an umbrella shape at the top of the stems.
Under ideal conditions this is a vigorous plant that can multiply readily through stolons that separate from the main tuber. It is also capable of self seeding where the berries fall.
Easily grown in the usual Arisaema conditions – light shade and well drained soil. Sow Arisaema ciliatum var liubaense seeds is a good quality seed compost.
