From the Atlas Mountains of Morocco comes this fantastic Eryngium species – one of the finest in the genus.
This produces low growing mounds of spiky evergreen heavily dissected leaves highlighted with beautiful variegation. Flower spiked are flushed with deep purple. Best grown in full sun.
Sow in any regular seed compost. Cover the seeds with just 1 or 2mm of grit or compost and keep moist. No additional wamth is required, and these are easy to germinate and rewarding to grow.
