Description
Gymnospermium altaicum is a member of the Berberidaceae family, a diverse group of plants that include delicate woodland species such as Podophyllum and Epimedium as well as shubby plants such as Mahonia and Berberis.
Gymnospermium altaicum is a small tuberous species – early to emerge but fully hardy. Short lush growths produce bright yellow flowers.
