Description
1x bulb of Scilla peruviana KV695. Bulbs are 2 years old seedlings and will need a number of years to reach flowering size (ie, still small! But a great chance to grow a very special and rare plant).
I have a real soft spot for Scilla peruviana and I grow numerous forms. Some of these unusual forms are offered occasionally. KV695 is possibly an undescribed sub-species, and came to me as seed labelled as a possible ‘Sp Nova’.
Making very unusual greenish flowers tinged with red. The leaves are slightly ‘leathery’ and held flat to the soil.
I have not tested this for hardiness, but it has been fine in a cold greenhouse.
