Smallanthus pyramidalis is a rare relative of the Sunflower, and part of the Asteraceae family. It makes a tall, multistemmed plant topped with clusters of yellow mini-sunflowers.
An easy warm germinator, Smallanthus pyramidalis can grow fairly rapidly up to 2m+ in height and can potentially flower in the first season from seed. Should prove hardy throughout much of the UK.
