Description
1 x Arisaema concinnum seed packet (10 seeds).
Arisaema concinnum originates from forest clearings and areas of shrub on steep hillsides in India, Nepal and China. A few different forms are available commercially.
Arisaema concinnum is a tall plant, up to around 1.5m in old specimens. The leaf is divided into 7 – 13 leaflets held in a radial pattern. Although the slender spathes are held beneath the leaves they are always prominent with their sharply pointed spathe-limb extending well beyond the spathe’s opening.
Arisaema concinnum does best out of direct sunlight in partial shade and usually flowers during May or June. Tubers produce stolons with young tubers at their ends, helping to create a clump over a few seasons.
These seeds are from plants with a mix of greenish and brownish spathes.
