This is the real Arisaema erubescens, not reddish forms of Arisaema consanguineum that are often passed around under this name. The true species is not encountered in cultivation all that often, however, it makes an excellent and vigorous garden plant.
Ochre coloured vertically stiped spathes are held on stems with attractive reddish markings. Tubers are a greenish colour and reproduce via stolons.
